Ziegelhütte is a deserted area in the municipal area of ​​the independent city of Ansbach in the administrative region of Middle Franconia .

The hamlet , which consisted of five residential buildings in the 19th century, was located on Feuchtwanger Strasse at an altitude of 429  m above sea level. NHN . Today the Ansbach community road, Ziegelhüttenweg, is a reminder of the place.

history

The place was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach . This was also the landlord of the property. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the brickworks received the number 451 of Ansbach when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Ziegelhütte was assigned to the Ansbach tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the municipality of Ansbach, founded in 1811. In the official registers after 1900, the Ziegelhütte is no longer listed as a district. At that time the place already formed a closed settlement with Ansbach. In the 1950s there were still two buildings from the 18th century at Knebelstraße 9 and Thomasstraße 4. Today there are no remains of the original brickworks.
