The Chaplains Tableland is a high-altitude table land in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range , it is just north of Mount Lister .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1963 in honor of the chaplains who mainly worked in Antarctica at the McMurdo station , from which the blackboard is clearly visible.
