Irene Kleinschmidt

Irene Kleinschmidt (* 1962 ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Irene Kleinschmidt was born in Mecklenburg. After graduating from the Goethe Oberschule in Schwerin in 1981 , she studied at the Rostock University of Music and Theater and had her first engagements at the Landestheater Neustrelitz , the Mecklenburg State Theater Schwerin and the Theater Erfurt . Further stations in her stage career were the German National Theater Weimar , the Berlin Maxim Gorki Theater , the Leipzig Theater and the Bochum Theater . Kleinschmidt has been involved at the Bremen Theater since 1994 . Here she was awarded the Audience Award “Silver Roland” in 1997 and the Kurt Hübner Prize in 2007 .

In addition to some television productions, Irene Kleinschmidt has also occasionally worked in radio play productions for Radio Bremen in the past .
