Max Wiedemann (born December 22, 1977 in Munich ) is a German film producer and one of the managing directors of Wiedemann & Berg Filmproduktion and W&B Television.

Life

Max Wiedemann studied production and media management at the University of Television and Film Munich and graduated in 2003 with a diploma. During this time numerous short films were made, which received various national and international short film awards, film festival awards and awards.

While still studying together, he founded the Wiedemann & Berg film production company in 2003 with his school friend Quirin Berg . In 2010, W&B Television was founded. Both companies have been part of the newly founded LEONINE studio since January 2020 . Max Wiedemann and Quirin Berg are shareholders and co-founders of LEONINE and, as managing directors of LEONINE Holding and chief production officers, manage the group's entire fiction production. As Chief Business Development Officer, Max Wiedemann is also responsible for the development of new business areas and their integration.

Max Wiedemann is a member of the German , British and European Film Academy . From November 2007 on he was a member of the board of directors of the producers' association AG Spielfilm, from March 2008 to February 2018 he was a member of the section board for cinema of the Alliance of German Producers - Film & Television.
