Gabriela Sperl
Gabriela Sperl (* 1952 in Bad Godesberg ) is a German film and television producer , dramaturge and screenwriter .
Life
Gabriela Sperl studied modern history in Munich , where she also received her doctorate in 1985 . Since 1982 she has worked as a freelance dramaturge and freelance editor for Bavarian television . From 1998 to 2002, she was program director for music and television plays at BR. During this time, numerous successful cinema and television productions were made; The productions she oversees include the award-winning television films End of the Season and Life Would Be Nice , but also feature films such as My Last Film by Oliver Hirschbiegel , the relationship drama Der alten Affe Angst by Oskar Roehler and the modern Heimatfilm Hierankl by Hans Steinbichler .
In 2003 she set up her own production and project development company, sperl film GmbH. In 2004 she was awarded the Grimme Prize for the carrot , life would be beautiful and family circles. Gabriela Sperl is a member of the German Film Academy . In the area of promoting young talent, for example, she works in the Munich script workshop. From 1999 to 2016 she was a member of the University Council of the HFF Munich , in May 2016 she was appointed part-time head of the media studies department.
