reception

Andrey Arnold described the film in the daily newspaper Die Presse as “formally sloppy, but enjoyable genre food from Austria.” Acting and dialogue are mixed, but the fresh faces give the film a pleasant naturalness. “The camera moves when and where it can, but it lacks stability. Sometimes you have the feeling that the image and montage are not properly screwed down. One could say more benevolently that they imitate the protagonists' constant twitching. ”But the tension would remain.

derStandard.at called the production a "technically solid entertainment film: [...] The camera is clearly trying to achieve dynamism, the narrative speed is equally brisk, and various logic gaps that are inherent in the genre tend to be overlooked."
