DFB Bundestag

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The DFB-Bundestag is the highest body of the German Football Association , which practically functions as the parliament of football .

The DFB Bundestag is convened every three years. The term of office of the presidium and board of the DFB is three years. The Bundestag currently consists of a total of 259 voting delegates , including the members of the Presidium and Executive Board, the delegates from the state and regional associations of the DFB and the League Association . In addition, there are the honorary members and the members of the judicial bodies, the auditors and the committees, who participate in an advisory capacity.

The Bundestag has a quorum if at least half of the total votes are represented when determining who is entitled to vote . In the elections for the Presidium and Board of Directors, a simple majority of the validly cast votes is sufficient for effective resolution to be passed. On the other hand, amendments to the statutes, for example, require a two-thirds majority .
