The Venus is an erotic fair and true, with over 400 exhibitors from 36 countries and trade visitors from more than 60 countries as the world's largest international trade show for adult entertainment. It has taken place annually since 1997 in Berlin on the exhibition grounds under the radio tower . In 2006, Venus fairs were held in Paris and Shanghai for the first time .

The organizer of the fair is Venus Berlin GmbH, managing director Sven Hurum.

On the occasion of Venus, prizes from the German porn industry are awarded annually, until 2004 and now again the Venus Award of the same name , and from 2005 to 2009 the Eroticline Award . Before the beginning of the erotic fair, the flagship of the fair is chosen for Miss Venus . After a six-year break, the Venus Award 2010 was again awarded in 48 categories to the most successful industry giants in the field of eroticism.

In 2016 there were 30,000 visitors at the fair. In 2020 the trade fair was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany . It should take place next from October 21 to 24, 2021.
