Erotixxx Award
The Erotixxx Award (until 2008 Eroticline Award or eLine Award ) is a German award from the porn industry that has been organized by the trade journal Medien eLine since 2005 and awarded in well over 20 categories. The winners are determined by a jury and by voting among the webmasters or registered users of several German erotic portals.
The award is presented at a corresponding gala event and took place from 2005 to 2009 on the occasion of Venus , the largest international trade fair for eroticism, in Berlin . It initially replaced the Venus Award , which was awarded until 2004 , but has been awarded since 2010 as part of the newly founded eroFame erotic fair, initially in Potsdam , and since 2011 in Hanover . At the same time, the Venus Award was revived for Venus 2010. Since 2011, no more actors and personalities, but only production companies and manufacturers of sex toys , in order to avoid the competition for the recognized Venus Award.
