Yüksel D. (born March 1, 1969 in Hınıs , Erzurum , as Yüksel Düzgün ) is a fashion designer , music producer and model scout who brought out a fashion label and ran a model agency.

Life

Yüksel D. was born near Erzurum in central Turkey and spent his childhood there. The area was massively shaken by an earthquake in 1977, which prompted the parents to move to Germany a year later. Yüksel's father hired himself as a steel construction fitter and gave his son a solid education, which he completed in 1986 with the secondary school leaving certificate in Heusenstamm in the Offenbach district . His main hobby at this time was judo; in this sport he made it to the German champion. In the following years he completed an apprenticeship as an electrician , later as a chemical laboratory assistant and worked in this profession in a large chemical company until 1999. Parallel to his professional activity, Yüksel D. established various stores for textiles since 1992, founded the model agency Y-Models as well as the two fashion labels Death Row and Cayman Islands and worked with the big names in the rap scene. He shot an erotic home video with the casual actress Gina-Lisa Lohfink , for which he was awarded the Eroticline Award . Yüksel D. was sentenced in 2010 to a prison sentence of 18 months on probation for assault, deprivation of liberty, coercion and threats. In 2013, the sentence was revoked for violating probation conditions and the prison sentence was carried out until the end of 2014.

Fashion

Yüksel D. founded the textile stores Space and Planet in Frankfurt and Offenbach in 1992 . He later remained true to his soft spot for fashion labels and organized fashion shows for Ed Hardy , Dolce & Gabbana and Paco Rabanne in hip clubs across Germany with his own models . In 2005 he was presented as “fashion czar” on Rhein-Main-TV as part of the fashion tip “Style of the Week”; in the same year he founded his own fashion label Death Row . In connection with the management of the actress Gina-Lisa Lohfink, he founded the Go Gina shop in 2008 .

In 2000, Yüksel D. founded the Y Models agency , within the framework of which he organized fashion shows and party events. a. for the magazines Playboy and Hustler . During private arguments with the Berlin rapper Kay One , Yüksel D. recorded a threatening telephone call and incorporated it into a new recording of the song Der Zauberstab by ZaZa , which was created in cooperation with the Frankfurt singer Flo2Soul. In 2010, productions for hdv TV and aggro-TV followed with rappers Haftbefehl , Celo & Abdi , Massiv , Eko Fresh , Schwesta Ewa and Toni der Assi, among others . After his protégé Jasmin Rapior left the Big Brother house in June 2011, a music video produced by Yüksel D. was released a week later, in which Rapior sings a cover version of the 1980s classic Touch Me by Samantha Fox .

Yüksel D. appeared as artist MC-Yolo in 2008 on the YouTube channel King of Trash-TV . In the same year Yüksel D. published an amateur porno that shows him having sex with his then partner Gina-Lisa Lohfink . Yüksel D. was also the manager of Lohfinks at that time, who was participating in the third season of Germany's Next Top Model . Yüksel D. states that the film was shot and published with Lohfink's consent, Lohfink contradicts this representation. In 2008 Yüksel D. received the Eroticline Award in the “Best Amateur Newcomer” category.
