Rock in the green
Rock im Grünen is the largest newcomer open air festival in Berlin , which takes place every year in the Parkbühne Biesdorf . The organizer of this open air is Rock im Grünen eV It is organized entirely on a voluntary basis and is financed exclusively through donations, sponsors and media partnerships. It is a non-profit project. Admission to the events is free. The idea behind it is to give people from all social classes access to art and culture. After the association was founded in 1997, the Rock im Grünen Open Air took place for the first time in 1998.
The Rock im Grünen Open Air takes place on two days (Friday and Saturday) and has more than 3000 visitors a year. Every year up to 500 bands apply, of which the best 10 have the opportunity to present themselves on the big stage. One headliner is selected by the Rock im Grünen team and is usually internationally known. Concert recordings are broadcast on Alex Open Channel .

- Fete de la Musique
At the Fête de la Musique (annually on June 21), Rock im Grünen eV plays on a stage / club in annually changing locations.
- Lichtenberg light market
The Rock im Grünen eV can be found annually at the Lichtenberger Lichtermarkt (first Sunday in Advent ) in front of the Lichtenberg Town Hall . There are mulled wine , cotton candy and sausages sold.
- Winter edition
The Rock im Grünen winter edition takes place on the last weekend before Christmas in changing locations. On this evening, 3-4 newcomer bands from Berlin and Brandenburg can present themselves at a club concert.
