Under the name Die Finals - Berlin 2019 , ten events for German championships took place in Berlin from July 30th to August 4th, 2019 .
By merging the events for German championships in track cycling , archery , boxing , canoeing , modern pentathlon , swimming , trial , triathlon , gymnastics and athletics , both in terms of time and location , analogous to the European Championships 2018 , it was hoped that greater media attention would be generated, especially for less spectator sports . The event, with 202 medal decisions in 155 disciplines, was broadcast live by ARD and ZDF on television and on the Internet.
German championships
As part of this first edition, nine German sports associations jointly coordinated ten events for championship competitions.
- Association of German Cyclists (BDR): German Championships in Track Cycling 2019 and German Championships Trial 2019
- Deutscher Schützenbund (DSB): German Archery Championships 2019
- German Boxing Association (DBV): German championships of the elite
- German Canoe Association (DKV): German championships in canoe racing and stand-up paddling
- German Athletics Association (DLV): German Athletics Championships 2019
- German Association for Modern Pentathlon (DVMF): International German Championships in Modern Pentathlon 2019
- German Swimming Association (DSV): German Swimming Championships 2019
- German Triathlon Union (DTU): German championship sprint distance
- Deutscher Turner-Bund (DTB): German Gymnastics Championships 2019

All the venues were in Berlin and some could be visited free of charge.
- "City-Spree" (along the East Side Gallery ) at the Oberbaumbrücke for canoeing
- Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark for trials
- Dome hall in the Olympic Park for boxing
- Max Schmeling Hall for gymnastics
- Maifeld (Berlin) for archery
- Olympic park for modern pentathlon (swimming, fencing, riding)
- Olympic stadium for athletics
- Olympic course for archery (gold and bronze matches), modern pentathlon (running, shooting) and triathlon (target)
- Swimming and diving hall in the Europa Sportpark for swimming
- Wannsee lido for triathlon (start)
- Velodrome for track cycling
