The 2019 Grammy Awards were held on February 10th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles . It is the 61st edition of the Grammys , the most important US music award . Musicians, songwriters and other successful players in the music business are recognized in 84 different categories. The basis was publications between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018. The nominations were announced on December 7, 2018. In Germany, the show will be shown on February 11, 2019 at 9:50 p.m. on the public sector channel one . Singer Alicia Keys led through the evening .
