Brothers Osborne
The Brothers Osborne are an American country duo from Maryland .
Band history
The brothers John and TJ Osbourne grew up in the small town of Deale, Maryland. They were influenced by country and rock music and even as teenagers had their own band called Deuce & a Quarter , with whom they performed in local bars and played cover songs. In the 2010s John and two years later TJ went to Nashville , where they performed together as Brothers Osborne .
In 2012 they signed a recording deal with Capitol Records and a year later their debut single Let's Go There was released , which became a minor radio hit on country stations. It took another year for their second single, Rum , which made it into the country charts. In the same year their first EP Brothers Osborne was released . The breakthrough came in 2015 with the release of the new recording of the EP song Stay a Little Longer . This not only made them number 4 in the country charts , but also made it into the top 50 of the official single charts . The single achieved platinum status . At the beginning of 2016, the debut album Pawn Shop was released , with which the brothers and sisters reached number 3 on the country charts and the top 20 on the Billboard 200 . They were then named Singing Duo of the Year at the CMA Awards .
