South African national cricket team in Sri Lanka in the 2004 season
The tour of the South African national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2004 season took place from 4th to 31st August 2004. The international cricket tour was part of the 2004 international cricket season and included two tests and five ODIs . Sri Lanka won the Test Series 1–0 and the ODI Series 5–0.
prehistory
Sri Lanka previously played in the Asia Cup 2004 , for South Africa it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002/03 season in South Africa .
