The tour of the South African national cricket team to New Zealand in the 2014/15 season took place from October 21 to 27, 2014. The international cricket tour was part of the international cricket season 2014/15, which was characterized by preparation for the Cricket World Cup , which starts the following March . It therefore consisted exclusively of a series of three ODI , which South Africa won 2-0. By winning this series, South Africa was first in the ICC's ODI world rankings for the first time in five years .

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. New Zealand had recently completed a tour in the West Indies , while South Africa previously played in Zimbabwe . The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2012/13 season in South Africa .
