The Seddon Park (formerly Trust Bank Park, WestpacTrust Park and Westpac Park) is a cricket stadium in Hamilton , New Zealand opened the 1950s. The stadium is the venue for international test matches and one-day internationals .

Capacity & Infrastructure

The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 seats. It has floodlights and was renovated in 2014. The two ends of the pitch are named Members End and City End .

International cricket

International cricket has been played at the stadium since 1981 when the first ODI between New Zealand and India was held there. The first test match followed in 1991 between New Zealand and Sri Lanka . Since then, it has served as a regular venue for home games for the New Zealand national team. At the 1992 Cricket World Cup , the stadium hosted two preliminary round matches, and three more followed for the 2015 edition .

National cricket

Since its inception in the 1956/57 season , the stadium has served as the home of the Northern Districts cricket team .
