Saint-Omer church

Ochtezeele , West Flemish : Ochtezele , is a municipality in French Flanders in France . It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Dunkerque arrondissement and the Wormhout canton ( canton Cassel until 2015 ). The residents call themselves Ochtezeelois .

geography

The neighboring municipalities are Rubrouck in the west and northwest, Arnèke in the northeast, Wemaers-Cappel in the east, Zuytpeene in the southeast and Noordpeene in the south. The Peene Becque flows through Ochtezeele. The railway line from Dunkerque to Hazebrouck runs through Ochtezeele; the nearest train station is in Arnèke.
