course
The river rises on the southern outskirts of Cassel , but is also fed by several small rivulets from the Sainte-Marie-Cappel area. It initially flows a little in a south-westerly direction, then turns sharply to the right between Cassel and Oxelaere and now runs to west-northwest through Zuytpeene and Noordpeene.
