It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Dunkerque arrondissement and the Grande-Synthe canton (until 2015: Bourbourg canton ). It borders in the north on Bourbourg , in the east on Cappelle-Brouck , in the south on Holque , in the southwest on Ruminghem and in the west on Sainte-Marie-Kerque . The residents call themselves Saint-Pierrebrouckois .
