Saint-Momelin , West Flemish : Sint-Momelingn , is a municipality in French Flanders in France . It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Dunkerque arrondissement and the Wormhout canton . It borders in the north-west on Watten , in the north-east on Wulverdinghe , in the east on Lederzeele , in the south-east on Nieurlet , in the south on Saint-Omer and in the south-west on Serques . In the west, the community is affected by the canalised Aa . In the southwest, the D928 road runs as Route de Saint-Momelin and in the east as Route de Bergues . The residents call themselves Saint-Momelinois .

The municipality belongs to the canton of Wormhout (until 2015: canton of Bourbourg ).
