Millam is a French municipality with 813 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dunkerque and is part of the Canton of Wormhout (until 2015: Canton of Bourbourg ). The inhabitants are called Millamois (es) .
geography
Millam is located on the Canal de la Haute Colme , which borders the municipality to the north. Millam is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Merckeghem in the north and east, Volkerinckhove in the southeast, Wulverdinghe in the south, Watten in the southwest, Holque in the west and Cappelle-Brouck in the west and northwest.
