Staple is a commune in northern France . It belongs to the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region , the Nord department , the Dunkerque arrondissement and the Bailleul canton . It borders on Bavinchove to the northwest and north , Hondeghem to the east, Wallon-Cappel (point of contact) and Lynde to the south-east, Ebblinghem to the south-west and Renescure (point of contact) to the west .
