Renescure ( Flemish : Ruyscheure ) is a French town in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France in the historic West Flemish -speaking region French Flanders . Renescure has 2,080 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), called Renescurois , and belongs to the canton of Hazebrouck (until 2015: canton of Hazebrouck-Nord ) in the Dunkerque district .
location
Renescure is about 27 miles southeast of Calais and about 34 kilometers south of Dunkirk . The southwest border is the Canal de Neufosse . Renescure is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Clairmarais in the north and northwest, Bavinchove and Staple in the northeast, Ebblinghem in the east, Lynde in the southeast, Blaringhem in the south and southeast, Wardrecques and Campagne-lès-Wardrecques in the southwest and Arques in the west and northwest.
