Looberghe with the Saint-Martin church

Looberghe ( West Flemish : Loberge ) is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Grande-Synthe in the Dunkerque arrondissement . It is bordered to the north by Brouckerque , to the northeast by Pitgam , to the east by Drincham , to the southeast by Eringhem , to the southwest by Merckeghem and Cappelle-Brouck and to the northwest by Bourbourg . A side canal of the Canal de la Haute Colme runs on the west side of the municipal marker . The residents call themselves Looberghois .
