Saint-Georges church

Crochte ( West Flemish : Krochte ) is a municipality in northern France . It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Dunkerque arrondissement and the Wormhout canton ( canton Bergues until 2015 ). It borders in the north on Steene , in the east on Socx , in the south on Esquelbecq and Bissezeele , in the southwest on Zegerscappel and in the west on Pitgam . The residents call themselves Crochtois.
