Saint-Georges-sur-l'Aa (Flemish Sint-Joris ) is a commune in northern France . It belongs to the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region , the Nord department , the Dunkerque arrondissement and the Grande-Synthe canton . It borders on Gravelines to the north, Loon-Plage (point of contact) to the northeast, Craywick to the east, Bourbourg to the south and Saint-Folquin to the west .

Saint-Georges-sur-l'Aa is a member of the municipal association Communauté urbaine de Dunkerque . The municipality marker is touched in the southwest by the A16 autoroute , combined with the Europastraße 40 .
