Saint Martin Church

Hantay is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Annœullin (until 2015 canton of La Bassée ) in the arrondissement of Lille . It borders on Marquilles to the north and east , Billy-Berclau to the south and Salomé to the west . The residents call themselves Hantayeurs .
