Sequedin is a French municipality with 4712 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and the canton of Lille-6 (until 2015: canton of Lomme ). The inhabitants are called Sequedinois .

geography

Sequedin is located as a banlieue about five kilometers southwest of the city center of Lille in the flatlands of French Flanders . The canalised Deûle runs through the municipality .
