Herlies town hall

Herlies is a French commune with 2,399 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and is part of the canton Annœullin (until 2015: canton La Bassée ). The inhabitants are called Herlilois .

geography

Herlies is about 16 kilometers west-southwest of Lille . Herlies is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fournes-en-Weppes in the north, Wicres in the east, Illies in the south and Fromelles in the west.

The National Route 41 runs through the municipality .
