geography

Wahagnies is located about 16 kilometers south-southwest of Lille on the border of the historic landscapes of Flanders and Artois . Wahagnies is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Phalempin in the north, La Neuville in the northeast, Thumeries in the east, Ostricourt in the south, Oignies in the southwest and Libercourt in the west.
