Bousbecque ( Flemish : Bosbeke ) is a French municipality with 4831 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and is part of the canton of Lambersart . The inhabitants are called Bousbecquois .
geography
Bousbecque is located about 20 kilometers north of Lille an der Leie (French: Lys ) directly on the Franco- Belgian border. Bousbecque is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Wervik (Belgium) in the north, Halluin in the east, Roncq in the southeast, Linselles in the south and Wervicq-Sud in the west.
The former National Route 345 runs through the municipality .
