Genech (NDL .: "Genst") is a French municipality with 2,702 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and the canton of Templeuve (until 2015 canton of Cysoing ). Neighboring municipalities to Genech are Cysoing in the north, Cobrieux in the northeast, Mouchin in the east, Nomain in the south and Templeuve in the west.
