Anstaing is a commune in the French region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Nord department , the Lille arrondissement and the Templeuve canton (until 2015 the Lannoy canton ). It borders Tressin to the north, Chéreng to the east, Gruson to the southeast, Sainghin-en-Mélantois to the southwest and Villeneuve-d'Ascq to the west . The residents call themselves Anstinois .
The former Route nationale 355 leads via Anstaing. The village contains a train station on the Ascq to Orchies line .
