Péronne-en-Mélantois is a French municipality with 908 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and the canton of Templeuve (until 2015: canton of Cysoing ). The inhabitants are called bachynois .
geography
Péronne-en-Mélantois is located about ten kilometers southeast of the city center of Lille near the border with Belgium . Péronne-en-Mélantois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainghin-en-Mélantois in the north, Cysoing in the east, Louvil in the southeast, Templeuve in the south and Fretin in the west.
The A23 autoroute runs through the municipality .
