Sailly-lez-Lannoy ( Flemish : Zelleken ) is a northern French municipality with 1849 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and is part of the canton of Villeneuve-d'Ascq (until 2015: canton of Lannoy ). The inhabitants are called Saillysiens .

Sailly-lez-Lannoy is on the border with Belgium . Sailly-lez-Lannoy is surrounded by the municipalities of Toufflers in the north, Templeuve in the east, Willems in the south, Villeneuve-d'Ascq in the southwest and Hem in the west.
