Quesnoy-sur-Deûle (NDL .: "Kezenet aan de Deule") is a French municipality with 6758 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It is located about twelve kilometers northwest of Lille and about six kilometers south of the border with Belgium .

The canalized and navigable river Deûle crosses Quesnoy in a green environment.

history

Quesnoy is first mentioned in a document in the 12th century, but the origins are likely to be in antiquity, as there was already through traffic over the Deûle .
