La Neuville is a French municipality with 646 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lille and is part of the canton of Templeuve ( canton of Pont-à-Marcq until 2015 ). The inhabitants call themselves Neuvillois (es) .

La Neuville is about eleven kilometers south-southeast of Lille . La Neuville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Attiches in the north and east, Thumeries in the south, Wahagnies in the west and south-west and Phalempin in the west and north-west.
