Camphin-en-Pévèle is a French commune with 2,452 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and the canton of Templeuve (until 2015: canton of Cysoing ). The inhabitants are called Camphinois .
geography
Camphin-en-Pévèle is located about 15 kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Lille on the border with Belgium . Camphin-en-Pévèle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Baisieux in the north, Tournai in the east, Wannehain in the south, Bourghelles in the south and south-west, Cysoing in the south-west and Gruson in the west.
The A27 autoroute runs through the municipality .
