Louvil is a French municipality with 826 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and the canton of Templeuve (until 2015: canton of Cysoing ).

Louvil is about twelve kilometers southeast of the city center of Lille am Marque . Bourghelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cysoing in the north and east, Templeuve in the south and west and Péronne-en-Mélantois in the west and north-west.
