The Taggen ( Norwegian for spikes ) is a nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises between the Borchgrevinkisen and Kreitzerisen glaciers in the western section of the Sør Rondane mountains .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it in 1957 using aerial photographs taken during the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947).
