The tour of the South African national cricket team to India in the 1991/92 season took place from November 10-14, 1991. The international cricket tour was part of the 1991/92 international cricket season and included three ODIs . India won the ODI series 2–1.

prehistory

India previously took part in a three-nation tournament in the United Arab Emirates , for South Africa it was the first tour of the season and after being suspended from international cricket due to apartheid . It was also the first ever meeting of the two teams on a cricket tour.
