English national cricket team in India in the 1981/82 season

The England national cricket team's tour to India in the 1981/82 season took place from November 25 to February 4, 1981. The international cricket tour was part of the 1981/82 international cricket season and included six tests and three ODIs . India won the Test Series 1–0 and the ODI Series 2–1.

It is the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1979/80 season in India .
