New Zealand national cricket team in India for the 2016/17 season
The New Zealand national cricket team tour to India in the 2016/17 season took place from September 22nd to October 29th, 2016. The international cricket tour was part of the 2016/17 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . India won the Test Series 3–0 and the ODI Series 3–2.
prehistory
It is the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2013/14 season in New Zealand . The original idea was to carry out a test as a day-night test, but this was not pursued any further.
