The New Zealand national cricket team's tour to Sri Lanka in the 1983/84 season took place from March 3 to 29, 1984. The international cricket tour was part of the 1983/84 international cricket season and included three tests and three ODIs . New Zealand won the Test Series 2–0 and the ODI Series 2–1.

New Zealand previously played a tour against England , for Sri Lanka it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1982/83 season in New Zealand .
