The tour of the Australian national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 1999 season took place from September 9 to October 4, 1999. The international cricket tour was part of the 1999 international cricket season and included three tests . Sri Lanka won the test series 1–0.

Both teams previously played a three-nation tournament in Sri Lanka together with India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1995/96 season in Australia .
