Ashes Tour 1888
The Ashes Tour 1888 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team that included the 6th edition of the Ashes , and was held between July 16 and August 31, 1888. The international cricket tour was part of the 1888 international cricket season and included three test matches . England won the series 2–1.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Australia in the 1887/88 season .
