Australian national cricket team in the West Indies in the 2011-12 season
The Australian national cricket team's tour of the West Indies in the 2011/12 season took place from March 16 to April 27, 2012. The international cricket tour was part of the 2011/12 international cricket season and included three tests , five ODIs and two Twenty20s . Australia won the Test Series 2–0, while the ODI Series 2–2 and the Twenty20 Series 1–1 ended in a draw.
prehistory
The West Indies previously played a tour in India , Australia a three-nation tournament . The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2009/10 season in Australia . Due to political influence by the government of Guyana, the planned third test in Georgetown was awarded after Roseau .
