Indian national cricket team in Australia in the 2011-12 season

The Indian national cricket team's tour to Australia in the 2011/12 season took place from December 26, 2011 to February 3, 2012. The international cricket tour was part of the 2011/12 International Cricket Season and included four Tests and two Twenty20s . Australia won the Test Series 4-0, while the Twenty20 Series 1-1 ended in a draw.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour against New Zealand , India against the West Indies . The last tour between the two teams took place in India in the 2009/10 season . Immediately afterwards, both teams played a three-nation tournament together with Sri Lanka .
