Indian national cricket team in Australia in 2007-08
The tour of the Indian national cricket team to Australia in the 2007/08 season took place from December 26 to February 1, 2008. The international cricket tour was part of the 2007-08 international cricket season and included four tests and a twenty20 . Australia won the Test Series 2–1 and the Twenty20 1–0.

Australia previously played a tour against New Zealand , India against Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2007 season in India .

The Indian player Harbhajan Singh was punished with a suspension of three test games because of a racist comment to the Australian player Andrew Symonds who was reported by the umpire Steve Bucknor . The Indian federation lodged a complaint against the decision and the umpire and obtained that Bucknor was not scheduled for the next test by the International Cricket Council . Furthermore, three weeks after the incident, the ban was lifted as unfounded.
